Just Eat wanted a campaign that would get the nation ordering takeaways during the football World Cup. So we came up with the idea that took a footballing idiom rather literally, while celebrating the quintessentially British love of questionable memorabilia. It began with a film that had fans licking the face of England legend, John Barnes. The public were then able to win a selection of limited edition commemorative football plates, all with quirky designs paying homage to football greats and iconic football moments.
